The year of 2016 is about to come to an end, and what should we expect from the next year? The leading chipmaker Qualcomm has confirmed that it’s launching 10-nanometer Snapdragon processor early in 2017, which may well beat Apple’s A10.
The Vice President of Qualcomm Amon has recently disclosed its plan of pushing out 10nm Snapdragon processor next year. In collaboration with Samsung, hopefully they can grab more share of China smartphone market, to challenge the still-powerful iPhone series.
Snapdragon 830 is said to be the first 10nm product from Qualcomm. The paper launch is set to happen at the end of this month, and the product is starting to make its way to high-end smartphones including Samsung Galaxy S8 in the first quarter of 2017.
