Samsung is scheduled to launch its next flagship smartphone in Spring next year, which is bound to pack some exciting features at least to win back people’s faith.
According to the famous leaker @Evan Blass, the new-generation Galaxy phone will come with two model numbers, SM-G950 and SM-G955, referring to Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, respectively.
It’s interesting to notice that Samsung has skipped the model numbers of SM-G940 and SM-G945. Maybe the number of 4 also means bad luck in South Korea?
The Galaxy S8 series will reportedly feature dual curved displays which would be a bit bigger than the current S7 (5.5-inch and 6.2-inch). Other rumors indicate the SM-G955 might be renamed as Galaxy S8 Pro, but I personally don’t see a good reason for that.
