Corsair Unveils MP500 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSDs

Phison PS5007-E7 NVMe controller has been quite popular, and Corsair’s latest MP500 range of M.2 solid state drives have also used it. 

Belonging to Corsair Force Family, the MP500 is coming available in 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities, and said to deliver performance up to five times faster than traditional SATA 6Gbps SSDs. Equipped with a Phison PS5007-E7 controller and PCIe Gen. 3×4 M.2 2280 interface, the MP500 promises maximum sequential read speeds of up to 3,000MB/s and write speeds of up 2,400MB/s.

Backed by a 3-year warranty, the MP500 series will become available in the coming a few weeks, while the pricing is unknown yet.
