Apple’s AirPods finally hit retail earlier this week after a long delay, but some of you might wonder how to deal with a lost Airpod since it’s completely wireless and both parts are non-attached to each other.
The company has just announced that it’s going to charge $69 to replace a lost or damaged Airpod, or the charging case. The headphones are backed by a one-year warranty, and it covers not just audio defects but any battery problems. If the warranty expires, standard repairs are $69, while battery service is $49.
Due to the low production volume and extremely high demand, the supply of AirPod is very tight. You’ll have to wait six weeks before you can finally grab such an innovative pair of earbuds.
