Samsung only has one flagship smartphone for now, and the company appears to be looking to further expand its mid-range offerings. Recent rumor indicates that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A7 will be available in two display sizes – 5.5-inch and 5.7-inch respectively. Besides, the company’s own Exynos 7880 processor will be packed inside.
The Galaxy A7 2017 (SM-A720x) has just made an appearance on GFX Bench, and it’s not hard to notice a 5.7-inch version of it. With the same resolution of 1920×1080, the mysterious model might be something like Galaxy A7 Pro. The phone will sport an Exynos 7880 with 8 Coretex-A53 cores running at 1.8GHz, a Mali-T830 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, along with 16MP of rear and selfie cameras.
The Galaxy A series is anticipated to come with an IP68 certification, so it will be water and dust resistant similar to Galaxy S7, which would be a big selling point for the series.
