While the year of 2016 is almost over, some alleged render pictures of LG’s upcoming G6 smartphone have shown up online. Thanks to the famous leaker @OnLeak, we can tell that G6 resembles its predecessor G5 to a great extent, and there’ll even be a shiny black edition.
Equipped with dual-camera and fingerprint recognition, the phone features a Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack, and has ditched the modular design on the current G5 model.
According to multiple sources, LG G6 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship Snapdragon 835 processor, boast a 5.3-inch 2K display, and a slightly bigger body size of 148.8*72.3*8.0-8.3mm. It will support wireless Quick Charge as well.
LG G6 is slated for debut at MWC 2017 in February. It’s quite clear that the company is unhappy with how the G5 has been sold, and let’s stay tuned for what the new phone has to bring.
