Although Apple’s new wireless earbuds, AirPods, quickly got out of stock after several delays of shipment, the Cupertino company still calls the product a “runaway sucess”. While Apple CEO Tim Cook dropped by the New York Stock Exchange with his nephew on Wednesday, he accepted a quick interview with CNBC, and said it has been a “great holiday” for them.
AirPods have finally hit shelves just days before the Christmas shopping season, and the limited shipments were sold quickly. Ship dates are now six weeks out on Apple’s website.
When asked if more would come into stock, Cook promised that Apple is “making them just as far as we can”.
