About the same time of last year, HTC released its 5.5-inch HTC One X9 phablet, which came with MediaTek X10 SoC, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM. Now we’re about to embrace a sequel to it, HTC One X10. It’s a bit disappointing though that the key specs of the new handset remain the same.
The sources of VentureBeat point out that HTC will be even using a slightly less powerful version of the SoC for the One X10, the octa-core MT6755V/C running at 1.9GHz, while the MT6795 Soc which powered the X9 was clocked at a higher 2.2GHz.
The only upgrade can probably be found in the X10’s imaging capabilities – 16.3 megapixel rear camera and 7.9 megapixel front camera. And HTC One X10 is expected to be redesigned on the look, with fingerprint reconition added on the rear panel.
