Thanks to the fellow site we’re finally looking at a real Vega graphics card running in a system. The model is an engineering sample, but it still gives us a better idea what the Vega would look like.
Vega features new HBM2 memory, and its capacity gets significantly improved. The introduction of HBM2 memory puts the memory itself and GPU die together, so we’re very likely to see an ITX version of Vega, as a successor of Fury Nano. Different from Fury Nano, AMD will authorize AIB partners to design it.
The AMD reference design is quite typical – standard dual-slot design and red RADEON light.
