It’s no secret that Google is working with LG to unveil the first smartwatches powered by Android Wear 2.0: the LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style. The VentureBeat has managed to grab some exclusive pictures of the new devices, and shared further details of them.
According to earlier leaks, the models are codenamed Angelfish and Swordfish respectively. Expected to be presented at LG’s booth at Mobile World Congress, they’ll become commercially available the next day after its official launch on February 9.
Watch Sport, the flagship device, will feature 14.2mm thickness, 1.38-inch display, 480*480 resolution, titanium and dark blue color, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and 430mAh of battery. The Watch Style is coming with 10.8mm thickness, 1.2-inch display, 360*360, titanium & silver & rose gold color, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and 240mAh of battery.
Both watches will sport Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and pack Google Assistant integration as well as water and dust resistance (IP68 for the Sport and IP67 for the Style).
