Samsung’s Exynos Processor to Power Audi’s Cars

Samsung has recently reached cooperation with Audi’s Progressive SemiConductor Program (PSCP), allowing it to supply Exynos processors that will power Audi’s In Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) system.

Audi has been a key partner with NVIDIA’s Tegra business, but the German car company obviously needs more.

Samsung’s flagship Exynos processor supports multiple OS and multi-display, and can operate up to four differnent domains and displays stationed in the vehicle at one. It also allows the IVI system to deliver highly graphical user interface on displays for deeper user engagement.
