With great efforts in R&D, Huawei has been doing quite a good job in smartphone market. It has been able to expand into foreign markets by offering impressive product quality and features. The Chinese company seems not contented because rumors indicate they’re planning a notebook which is likely to be named “Matebook”. Huawei will be announcing its entry to notebook market at Mobile World Congress 2016 next month.
Huawei’s first PC is rumored to be based on Intel’s processor. In our opinion Matebook is more likely to be a Windows 10 tablet powered by Intel Atom processor, which would be much easier for the company to build.
About 3 months ago, Xiaomi introduced their Atom-based Xiaomi Tablet 2, so we won’t be surprised if Huawei follows its competitor’s step. Anyway, let’s stay tuned for more details from MWC.
