AMD 790GX spy pics leaked
Unika’s 790GX spy pic have been leaked on the net. Different from what we saw in Donanimhaber, the board is still an ES and without a cooler. What’s more, it got a integrated memory module, for the integrated HD 3300.
The board have two PCIe slot, and if Fudzilla is right, then the board can have a special hybrid 3-way crossfire with two limited GFX cards.

RS780D 3-way Hybrid CrossFireX have its limitations…
FUD reports RS780D, the AMD 790GX supports a new hybrid corssfire, can CF with IGP and two graphics card, here is their report:
“AMD’s upcoming RS780D or 790GX chipset will add support for a new type of hybrid CrossFire, as not only will the onboard graphics work in conjunction with a graphics card, but it will work with a pair of graphics cards for some very interesting CrossFireX setups.
We’re not sure how much of a performance boost you’d get from a setup like this, but an extra boost for free is never wrong. Well, free is a relative term here, as we’re not sure how many people would consider this platform when it launches, as starting out with integrated graphics and then moving up to one and then two graphics cards seems like an odd concept.”

Official: No more discrete chipset from NVIDIA
From now on, NVIDIA will only focus on chipsets with integrated graphics, no more discrete chipset. The 750a and 780a will be the first mainstream and high end nForce mobo with integrated graphics.
This announcement means NVIDIA want to fortify their VGA card market. In the past time on nForce board you can run ATI or other company’s VGA card, but after 750a/780a no one will do this: because NVIDIA have paper launched Hybrid SLI. No nForce user want to disable Geforce Boost and Hybrid Power by buying ATI or other company’s card. So it is a win-win situation: users got more performance, save more power, NVIDIA got more bankroll.
