Galaxy unveils 9600GSO Black Edition

First Look: Galaxy MagicBox, a multifunction panel

Today we have a hands on with this unreleased product of Galaxy, the MagicBox. At first sight we thought it is only a ordinary panel with card reader and RPM control slap together. But after some demonstrations from Galaxy dev we find out it is quite useful.

With all the features you can see in front of the panel like card reader, RPM control, USB, eSATA expansion and CMOS clear button. Thanks to a single chip micyoco built in the panel (they call it MPU, MagicBox Processing Unit), with it linked to a Galgxy mobo, it turn out to be a standard mobo debug card, or CPU turbo and automatic fan control.

9600GT goes silent
Galaxy decide to unveil 9600GT in the near future. The card is a overclocked version, rated at 675/1625/2000MHz, memory module is 512MB 1.0ns GDDR3. Still no confirmation about the card’s retail price and availability.

According to Digitimes, our familiar cooperation Palit now is eyeing Galaxy.The word has it the two companies now are talking about the the sell ‘n buy matters.

The acquisition is because of Palit holds Too much NVIDIA GPU, and they got no channel to sell them.

Pics and info of Galaxy 8800GT 1GB

Galaxy released some info about 8800GT 1GB. They only mention the card uses 32bit*32m Qimonda memory chip. so the card like Zotac’s 8800GT 1GB version, only have 8 memory chips. we don’t know the card is factory overclock or not.

Galaxy 8800GT with custom cooler and HDMI port

Galaxy upgade the non-reference 8800GT with a two heatpipe cooler.

Also the card is factory OCed to 650MHz/1800MH(core/mem). And of course it can be OC further.

Galaxy 8800GT with HDMI and factory OCed Approaching…

the power part seems optimized. and it is factory OCed.(a bit, 630/1600/1800MHz, core/shader/memory)
but they said it will bandle with games(two unname games) so i wonder what price would be.
