CPU-Z V1.52 Coming in June With New Tab “Graphics”

 

CPUID has lately claimed that they’re working on the next version of CPU-Z: CPU-Z V1.52, and shared the first screenshot of the program. As we can see, the new version has added Intel’s new logo and new tab “Graphics” which reports some basic information about the graphic devices.

FurMark 1.6.0 Available Now

 

FurMark is updated to 1.6.0 version now. In FurMark’s folder you will find two executables: FurMark.exe and etqw.exe. etqw.exe is just a copy/paste of FurMark renamed in etqw. Why etqw? Just because it’s one of the most popular OpenGL applications.

The benchmarking software of gaming frame – Fraps was updated to the latest 2.9.8 version. It has fixed some problems such as crash on installation. Supporting windows XP/Vista OS, it’s compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit systems.

FutureMark refuses PhysX scores from Hall of Fame

 

PhysX seems cheated Vantage

Just a Month ago NVIDIA released its PhysX Driver. Ironically, we rarely see any improvement practically, but drastic enhancement in 3DMark Vantage only. Furturemore, CJ even told us PhysX overwrites Vantage files.

Now Tero Sarkkinen, CEO of FutureMark, disclosed that Hall of Fame will refuse all results using PhysX on GPU. In his correspondances with a user he unveiled they “have updated filtering system coming up which will handle the runs which are not following Futuremark’s guidelines”. Accordingly, users must completely remove PhysX and install a FutureMark approved WHQL driver to make his result got pass.
